Two editions a year
Spring and autumn. Each edition welcomes four artists for three or four weeks.
Time and freedom
Accommodation, studio, food and, above all, time to investigate, create and think.
Menorca as territory
Sea, ravines, stone, architecture, craft, cooking and people as sources of inspiration.
Mediterranean dialogue
A special link with the artistic scene of Oaxaca, Mexico, and artists from Spain and the Mediterranean.

Each artist leaves a free-form bitácora. Over time these views form a living archive of creation.

Living together, conversation and exchange are an essential part of the experience. During the stay, each artist is invited to share an encounter with the community.
Minorque fut aussi un lieu de travail et de repos pour Eduardo Chillida, qui revint sur l’île durant de nombreux étés avec sa famille. Son lien avec ce paysage nous rappelle que créer demande aussi du temps, du calme et un lieu où revenir.

Artists and creative practitioners whose work can enter into conversation with Menorca, the house and its community.
Two editions each year — spring and autumn — with four residents per edition.
Three to four weeks: long enough to change rhythm, investigate and allow work to develop without hurry.
Accommodation, workspace, meals and the time and freedom to concentrate on a personal line of research.
Curiosity, respect for the house and island, one shared encounter and a free-form bitácora for the S’Engolidor 58 Archive.

Artists, works, processes and bitácoras will live here as the programme grows — not simply as documentation, but as another way of reading Menorca through the people who spent time creating here.

Not every residency needs an exhibition.
Sometimes the right ending is an open studio. Sometimes a conversation, a table, a walk, a workshop or an encounter with the village. Residents will be invited to share one moment with the community in the form that makes sense for their work.
